Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on Hyderabad Road, Onekawa, Napier.
Police were alerted to the crash, involving a truck and cyclist, around 3.20pm.
Initial reports indicate the cyclist received critical injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
The intersection is currently closed with diversions in place.
