A person has died following a serious crash between a truck and a bus on Waitakere Road this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 7:15am.
Two people were involved in the crash and one person has died at the scene.
The other person received moderate to minor injuries and is being treated by ambulance.
There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash.
Part of the road remains closed and diversions remain in place.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible and expect delays.
