Police in Oamaru can now confirm the name of the person who died following a crash in Bushey in the early hours of Wednesday morning, 20 March.
He was 49-year-old Mohamed Elmi of Christchurch.
The single-car crash occurred on Hamden-Palmerston Road.
Police would like to extend their sympathies to Mr Elmi's family at this tragic time.
