Police are now in a position to release the name of the woman who died following a fatal crash in Seddon on 18 June.

Police is urgently issuing a correction to an earlier release that contained incorrect details of the person who died in a fatal crash in Seddon on 18 June.The correct name of the man who died is Andres Bonifacio Hernan Vergara Oportot, 50, from Blenheim.
Our sincere apologies to anyone affected by this error.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
