Police can now release the name of the man who died following a single-truck crash on Kereru Road near Hastings on 25 September.
He was 69-year-old Peter Thomas Craig of Napier.
Police extend our sympathies to his family and friends.
Mr Craig's death has been referred to the Coroner.
