Police are now in a position to confirm the name of the person who died following a house fire in Manurewa on Monday 28th October, 2019.
She was Meena Kishor Prasad, aged 43.
Her death has been referred to the Coroner and our deep sympathies are with her family and relatives at this difficult time.
The family have asked for privacy at this time and request that media do not contact them.
The Police investigation into the house fire remains ongoing and we're not in a position to comment further.
