Off-duty officer charged - Southwest Metropolitan Region

An off-duty officer has been charged following an alleged affray in the Sydney CBD today.

The charge relates to an affray that is alleged to have occurred while the officer was off-duty in the early hours of this morning (Sunday 26 June 2022) at Darling Harbour.

Following inquiries, the 23-year-old man – who is attached to a command within the Southwest Metropolitan Region – was issued a Court Attendance Notice for affray.

He will appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 20 July 2022.
