An off-duty officer has been charged following an alleged domestic incident earlier this month in the state's west.
Yesterday (Tuesday 25 November 2025), officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended a home in Dubbo, following reports of a domestic incident.
Police arrived and were told a 31-year-old man – a senor constable attached to a specialist command – had allegedly had a domestic altercation with a 60-year-old woman known to him earlier this month.
Following inquiries, the 31-year-old was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm.
He was issued a court attendance notice to appear before Orange Local Court on Tuesday 13 January 2026.
The officer's employment status is under review.
