Officer charged in Wollongong

A police officer has been charged after she allegedly entered a licensed premises after being excluded in Wollongong last month.

Sometime around 10pm on Monday 25 April 2016, police allege the off-duty constable, who is attached to a specialist command, entered a licensed premises on Corrimal Street, Wollongong, after earlier being excluded from the premises.

The woman was again removed from the premises and her details were obtained by police.

About 3pm on Saturday (14 May 2016), the woman was served with a Future Court Attendance Notice for the offence of ‘excluded person re-enter or attempt to re-enter licensed premises’.

She is due to appear at Wollongong Local Court on 28 June 2016.
