A police officer has been issued a court attendance notice in relation to alleged malicious damage, assault and resist arrest offences which occurred last year, NSW Police say.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday 16 December 2017 in the Sydney CBD while the officer was off duty.
It will be alleged he damaged a taxi, pushed a man and resisted police who were called to the incident.
The senior constable, who is attached to the North West Metropolitan Region, is due to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 11 April 2018.
The officer’s duty status is under review.
