Officer stood down, Central Region

A 31-year-old male senior constable from the Central Police Region has been served a Notice to Appear in relation to unlawful possession of border-controlled drugs used in performance enhancement, and will appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court on November 2.

The officer has been stood down from duty with the Queensland Police Service.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct.
