Officers bitten during arrest - Kellyville

A man has been arrested after four officers were assaulted in Sydney's north west overnight.

Officers attached to The Hills Traffic and Highway Patrol Command approached the man about 10pm yesterday (Wednesday 21 April, 2021) when they saw his car stopped on Green Road, Kellyville.

When police asked the man to move, it's alleged he became aggressive; biting a male senior constable and another male constable before assaulting a further two officers.

Paramedics took the man to Westmead Hospital where he remains undergoing treatment.

Three officers were taken to Westmead Hospital.

Two were treated for puncture wounds to their forearms as well as other abrasions, while a third was treated for a knee injury.

A fourth officer sustained minor injuries and didn't require treatment
