OMCG arrest at Gold Coast

Police have charged a 30-year-old man and member of the Finks OMCG with drug offences.

Police from the Logan Major and Organised Crime Squad, Organised Crime Gangs Group, and Logan Tactical Crime Squad executed a search warrant yesterday on a Yarrabilba residence. As a result of the search police located a crystal substance and a bottle containing clear liquid, both believed to be drugs, along with tablets, mobile phones and drug related equipment.

The 30 year-old, allegedly the current President of the Finks OMCG Gold Coast chapter, was charged with three counts of supplying dangerous drugs and one count each of trafficking dangerous drugs and possessing thing used in the commission of crime.

He is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.

A 33-year-old Kingston woman was charged with drug offences following a search of a Mays Avenue address where cannabis, MDMA, methyl-amphetamines, utensils and mobile phones were seized. She is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates court on April 24.

Investigations are continuing.
