Police are hoping to identify a man after following a brazen theft from an ATM in Toorak on Christmas Eve., Victoria Police say
Investigators have been told an 80-year-old woman attended an ATM on Toorak Road, Toorak about 12.05pm.
As the Western Australian woman was using the machine a man talking on a mobile phone waited behind her.
When the money was dispensed the unknown man snatched the cash from the victim and fled the scene on foot.
Police have released CCTV of a man who they believe can assist with their enquiries.
He is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, about 177cm tall with a thin build, aged in his 20s to 30s, black hair and a beard and moustache.
He was wearing a black t-shirt, pink shorts, a black cap and sunglasses.
Anyone with information or who may recognise the man is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
