One man charged and three men outstanding after pursuit, crash in Heckenberg

One man has been charged and three men are outstanding after a pursuit and crash at Heckenberg overnight.

Police from Green Valley Local Area Command were patrolling in Guernsey Road, Busby, were they allegedly saw a Hyundai Excel speeding.

Police activated their red and blue lights directing the driver to stop, when the driver allegedly accelerated and a pursuit was initiated.

The pursuit continued to the intersection of South Liverpool Road and North Liverpool Road, Heckenberg, when it is alleged the Excel crashed into a Holden Trax. The four occupants of the Hyundai ran from the scene.

A 28-year-old woman driving the Holden suffered minor injuries in the crash and was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, NSW Police say.

Following further inquires; police attended a home on Bean Place, Bonnyrigg, and arrested an 18-year-old man who they will allege was a passenger in the Hyundai.

The man was taken to Green Valley Police Station and was charged with failing to comply with a form of demand and breach of bail.

He has been refused bail and will appear at Liverpool Local Court tomorrow.

Police are still searching for three outstanding occupants of the Hyundai and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
