One man dead, one injured in suspected DV-related shooting, NSW

A man has been found dead and another is seriously injured in a suspected domestic violence-related shooting in the state’s Far West today, NSW Police say.

Officers from Barrier Police District responded to reports of a shooting at a property about 1.30pm today (Tuesday 30 October 2018), on Rufus River Road, Rufus, 70km west of Wentworth, and found the body of a man suffering a gunshot wound.

Police found a second man nearby, also suffering a gunshot wound. He’s being transported to hospital under police guard.

Officers from Barrier Police District are now working with their Victorian Police colleagues on the investigation, after the body of a woman was found in a home in Red Cliffs, Victoria, about 12.30pm.

It is believed all three were known to each other.
