According to the preliminary results, the winning entry was sold in New South Wales but details regarding the winner remain undisclosed at this time.
The winning numbers drawn on Thursday were 7, 20, 19, 25, 10, and 31, with a Powerball of 11.
One other ticket won the Division 2 prize of $429,971.25. There were also winners in Divisions 3 through 9, with prizes ranging from AU$11.70 to AU$11,879.10.
The total prize pool for draw 1455 amounted to AU$35,455,723.07.
