Operation Tasking arrest

Joint Taskforce Icarus, involving Australian Border Force, Australian Federal Police, Department of Home Affairs and Victoria Police, have arrested a man following Operation Tasking.

The operation targeted the use of the domestic mail stream as a medium to traffick drugs.

A search warrant was executed at a Doncaster apartment where it is alleged in excess of $94,000 cash, drugs (including MDMA, cocaine and GHB), trafficking paraphernalia and controlled weapons were located.

A 23-year-old Doncaster man has been charged with drug trafficking and bailed after appearing in Ringwood Magistrates' Court today.
