NSW SES

Severe thunderstorms affected parts of the North Coast with Port Macquarie being the worst impacted. A rise of requests for assistance (RFA) occured from 4:00pm Monday, with reported golf sized hail, leaking/ damaged roofs and trees down.

Areas with the most RFA's are:

  • Port Macquarie Hastings Unit - 101 RFA's
  • Taree City Unit - 15 RFA's
  • Camden Haven Unit - 13 RFA's
  • Coffs Harbour City Unit - 8 RFA's

Prolonged areas of isolation continues for many communities and rural properties across NSW. NSW SES continues to work through resupply requests to isolated areas.

Recovery process is underway in Forbes, Condobolin, Darlington Point, Moama, Corowa, Narrandera and Hay, with impact assessments being conducted.
