About the 2019 EMC: Placing people at the heart of all that we do
The emergency management sector must equip its workforce to meet the needs and expectations of the modern community it serves. It is not enough to train staff and volunteers in preparedness, response and recovery techniques.
All emergency services organisations, government and non-government organisations response and recovery agencies are striving to ensure their workers safety, health and security. This will enable them to better provide safety, health and security for our community.
