Optus Business and Wholesale announces technology partnership with Sophos

Sophos Endpoint Protection, Web and Email filtering solutions to provide the foundation for managed services operations

SYDNEY, Australia Optus Business and Wholesale today announced it has selected Sophos (LSE: SOPH), a global leader in network and endpoint security, as its main cybersecurity technology partner.

Optus will use Sophos Endpoint Protection, Web and Email filtering solutions enhanced by Sophos Synchronized Security technology to underpin its service delivery. In addition, Optus will use Sophos Central for the efficient management of its customers security environments from a single dashboard.

Our goal is to protect the data of small businesses at the points where it is most vulnerable at the endpoint and through phishing and suspicious URL attacks that target users through web and email, said Ben White, Managing Director, Optus Business and Wholesale.
