OSCE

The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani, reiterated his call for the de-escalation of tensions in northern Kosovo and urged all parties to give room to the EU-facilitated Dialogue following the communication with First Deputy Prime Minister responsible for foreign policy and security and Foreign Minister of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kosovo Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz.

He appealed to Serbia to grant immediate access to the detained Kosovo police officers and to ensure their swift release.

Chairman Osmani stressed the importance that the authorities in Prishtinë/Priština adhere to the Roadmap for De-escalation and Normalization to achieve peace and stability and emphasized the role of KFOR in providing a safe and secure environment in Kosovo's northern municipalities.

"It is crucial for all parties to work towards peace, the OSCE stands ready to support," concluded Osmani.
