Swan Hill Rural City Council's popular photo competition, Our Municipality through Your Lens, is back—inviting photography enthusiasts to showcase their talent for a chance to be featured in the Council's Annual Report.

Residents of the Swan Hill municipality are encouraged to submit up to three photographs that capture the unique beauty and character of our region. Submissions can include landscapes, cityscapes, local landmarks, flora and fauna, or moments of community life.

The winning photograph will be featured on the front cover of the 2024/25 Annual Report, with selected runners-up showcased throughout the publication where appropriate.

Mayor Cr Stuart King said the competition is a fantastic way for residents to share what they love about the region.

"The photography competition received some amazing entries last year, highlighting the incredible talent in our community and the stunning places we call home," Cr King said.

"We're excited to see how residents capture the essence of our municipality again this year."

Entries are open now and close on Thursday, 31 July 2025. Photos submitted must be in digital format, original, and taken within the Swan Hill municipality.
