Outlaw motorcycle gang members charged after home invasion - Hillvue

Two members of an outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) have been charged following an alleged home invasion in the state's west.

About 3.30pm on Wednesday 21 April 2021, two men entered a home on Morilla Street at Hillvue and allegedly assaulted a 33-year-old man and his 37-year-old female partner, demanding money before fleeing.

Officers from Oxley Police District attended and a crime scene was established.

Both men, aged 26 and 32, were arrested nearby a short time later and taken to Tamworth Police Station, where they were charged with aggravated enter dwelling with intent.

The 32-year-old was also charged with two counts of common assault.

Both men were granted conditional bail to attend Tamworth Local Court next month (Monday May 10, 2021).
