P-plater charged with dangerous driving at Euston

Police have charged a man for allegedly driving dangerously and speeding in the state's south-west earlier this week.

About 6.18am Tuesday 11 February 2020, police were conducting visible patrols of the Sturt Highway, near Euston, when they saw a White Ford Falcon Utility allegedly speeding at about 173 km/h and dangerously overtaking cars.

Officers from Traffic and Highway Patrol spoke with the 22-year-old driver a short time later in Robinvale, Victoria.

The man was charged with drive speed dangerous, not display p-plates and exceed speed over 44km/h.

His licence was suspended, and he was issued a Court Attended Notice, to attend Wentworth Local Court Wednesday 4 March 2020.
