About Georges River Council

On 12 May 2016 Georges River Council was proclaimed and comprises of the former Hurstville City Council and the former Kogarah City Council. Combined the new Local Government Area has 149,000 residents, covers 43 square kilometres and comprises of 21 suburbs within the 5 wards: Blakehurst, Hurstville, Kogarah Bay, Mortdale and Peakhurst. Council's customers come from across a vast diversity that includes residents, visitors, businesses, government and non-government agencies.

About the RFP

Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced organisations interested parties, companies, businesses or organisations to enter into sponsorship agreement for naming rights of the Penshurst Park Sports Hub.

This document has been prepared with reference to ICAC Guidelines (Sponsorship in the Public Sector) and Georges River Council's Sponsorship and Donations Policy.

Council is offering this sponsorship for a minimum three (3) year period with a further three (3) year option (up to six (6) years in total). Council proposes to enter into a sponsorship agreement with the successful party for this purpose.

A detailed project brief / specification of the extent of services required by Council is set out in Part 2B of this RFP document.

Submissions

Completed responses can be submitted in via the electronic tender box (preferred) Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion.

The canvassing of Councillors or Council staff will automatically disqualify quotes.

Submission received after the closing date and time will not be considered. Selection criteria will be used in assessing submission.

The closing date of this RFP is 10.00am Tuesday 31st August 2021.
