Street artist Kasper has well and truly left his mark on Wodonga after finishing the city's tenth and final mural.
Kasper described the last brush stroke as surreal as he completed the mural on the underpass of the new Lawrence St bridge.
"After six months of working on a body of ten murals, it's pretty surreal to have finished the last one," he said.
The self-taught artist, who was employed in a Working for Victoria role, said the biggest hurdle he faced during the six months was the weather.
Rain, hail or shine, Kasper was always working on his murals.
"When you go out there you just have to battle the elements, good or bad," he said.
"I look back and think how I struggled in the rain, but it was all worth it."
Many of his murals were inspired by nature around the city.
"There's so much beautiful wildlife around this area, especially the birds like the Crimson Rosella I painted on the wall of Little Lane Cafe," he said.
Some of the other wildlife he painted include a pelican, ducks, a turtle, and a swan on the Felltimber Underpass mural.
Kasper had many interactions with the public while working on the murals.
"I am blown away by how encouraging people were in the community and so many people were up for a chat while I painted away," he said.
"As a mural artist, these paintings will be in their life and art is extremely subjective, but everyone has welcomed my work and been so positive."
Kasper received many kind comments on his Facebook wall after posting pictures of each of the finished murals.
Comments on the Lawrence St bridge artwork include: "Can't wait to see it! I have enjoyed our chats. Love your work." and "Amazing … very clever. Thank you for brightening up our town."
Another person wrote: "Absolutely amazing, it's been a pleasure to watch you put the Kasper touch in and around Wodonga."
The Lawrence St bridge mural was Kasper's favourite.
"My technique was the best in the final piece as it represented all I have learnt during my time here," he said.

Kasper is looking forward to returning home to Melbourne to start the next chapter in his street art career.
"I am working out of my studio when I have downtime, but I hope to get into more rural areas and transition into one of the heavy hitters in the mural art scene in Australia," he said.
