Police have arrested a man and a woman following a pursuit overnight which started in Hyde Park, according to SA Police.
Just after 12.30am on Monday 20 November, patrols spotted a Commodore sedan on Cross Road and tried to pull over the driver.
He refused and patrols pursued the car for a short distance before PolAir took over and monitored the car from the air.
The Commodore was followed through a number of suburbs including Glen Osmond, Norwood, Joslin, Propsect and Renown Park. Police successfully deployed road spikes on Torrens Road at West Croydon and the car was dumped in Mundulla Street at Kilkenny a short time later.
The driver and passenger ran off but were arrested nearby with the assistance of Dog Operations Unit, Police Dog Ben.
A 27-year-old man from Woodville was charged with engage in police pursuit, unlawfully on premises, drive unlicenced, drive with unassigned plates and possess unassigned plates.
His passenger, a 29-year-old woman from Noarlunga Downs was charged with hinder police and fail to truly answer questions.
She has been bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date while the driver has been refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
The Commodore was seized and has been impounded at the Ottoway Police Complex and investigations are continuing.
