Pair assaulted by group at Rosewater, South Australia

Police are investigating an assault and theft overnight at Rosewater.

Just after 3.30am on Thursday 14 November, the occupants of a house on Margaret Terrace opened their front door to investigate noises and were assaulted by a group of three men and a woman who had entered the property.

A 40-year-old man was struck in the head with a blunt metal object while a 30-year-old woman was punched in the face by another woman known to her. The group then left in a medium size sedan after allegedly stealing a bag.

The victims were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with minor injuries.
