Melbourne North Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged two men following a demonstration in Kensington earlier this month, Victoria Police say.
The protest in relation to the Milo Yiannopoulos speech occurred on Monday 4 December 2017.
Police executed warrants at a Wonthaggi address and a Sunbury address this morning.
A 33-year-old Wonthaggi man and a 28-year-old Sunbury man have both been charged with affray and riotous behaviour offences.
They have both been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 8 June 2018.
The investigation continues.
