Visitors to Yarrambat Park are being asked to avoid using Yarrambat Park Lake, which is undergoing testing by the Environment Protection Authority for a potential algal bloom.
Until further notice, please do not swim, fish or allow pets to enter or drink the water. Signage has been installed around the lake to advise park users.
Council is continuing to monitor the situation and will provide updates when we receive further information.
