Parks Victoria will be carrying out a professional deer control program in parts of the Yarra Valley Parklands between May and August 2026.
The program aims to protect native plants and habitats. During this time, there may be temporary park and trail closures while control activities are underway.
Parks Victoria will notify residents whose properties adjoin a control zone by letter, at least 2 weeks prior to the operations commencing.
