Parkville aggravated burglary and subsequent deceptions

Melbourne North Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following an aggravated burglary in Parkville and subsequent deceptions last month, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told an unknown man entered the victim’s house while they slept at their College Crescent residence between midnight and 3am on 9 September.

A laptop and wallet containing the victim’s credit card were stolen.

The stolen credit card was later used by the burglar and another man to make several purchases at two convenience stores on Racecourse Road, Flemington between 3.25am and 7.30am.

The male burglar is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, 180cm tall, slim build, approximately 30-years-old with short dark hair.

He was wearing a blue beanie, a fluorescent orange top bearing a logo on the front, dark blue trousers and brown work boots.

The second man is also perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, 182cm tall, medium build, aged in his early 30’s with short dark brown hair.

He was wearing a dark green beanie, a dark green jacket, grey top, grey shorts and black shoes with white soles.

Police have released images of two men they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
