Parolee re-arrested - Enmore

A man accused of breaching his parole conditions has been re-arrested by New South Wales Police on an inner-Sydney street.

The 50-year-old man allegedly removed his electronic tracking device after leaving the Prince of Wales Hospital at Randwick around 4.15pm yesterday.

Just before 5pm today (Monday 8 April), plain clothes officers spotted the fugitive walking along King Street at Enmore.

Police from the Surry Hills and Redfern Region Enforcement Squads, Operation Odin and the dog unit moved in to effect the arrest, without incident.

The man has been taken to the Newtown Police Station where inquiries are continuing.
