Partial Resumption of Councils Road Management Plan

Following the suspension of Swan Hill Rural City Council's Road Management Plan (RMP) in December 2022, some aspects of Council's RMP are being reinstated from Monday, 3 July 2023.

Under clause 1.3 of the Swan Hill Rural City Council Road Management Plan (RMP) Council suspended the RMP, following the October 2022 Victorian Flood Events.

Council is beginning to reinstate aspects of the RMP, that they can comply with, while other areas will remain suspended.

Inspections and completion of footpath works, for all footpath categories will be reinstated as well as a full reinstatement of inspections and completion of works for Councils highest risk link (Category 1) roads.

All other road categories will remain suspended, until such time as all completed flood damaged road repairs have been completed, as identified.

As soon as Council can fully comply with the RMP regarding resourcing and repairs, the other road categories will be reinstated.
