Passenger dies after Frankston crash

Police are preparing a report for the Coroner after a man died in hospital following a crash in Frankston in February.

It's understood a driver lost control of his car on Beach Street about 10.20am on 20 February.

The car hit a phone box and three parked cars in a supermarket carpark before coming to a stop.

The male driver, a 64-year-old man from Seaford, and his two passengers, an 89-year-old woman from Frankston and a 90-year-old man from Frankston, were transported to hospital.

Investigators have been notified that the 90-year-old Frankston man died in hospital earlier this week.

The exact cause of the crash is being investigated.
