Paw form in West Melbourne

Detectives from Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit are hoping to pounce on a thief who stole a puppy and a cat from a West Melbourne residence last week.

Investigators have been told an unknown offender(s) gained entry to the Roden Street home sometime between 5pm on 4 June and 2.30am on 5 June.

Jewellery items were stolen from the residence, including G-Shock watches, as well as the victim's 14-week-old blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a white and grey cat.

Investigators have released images of the pets in the hope of reuniting them with their owners.
