A man is in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Sydney's south west overnight.
About 11.15pm yesterday (Tuesday 1 July 2025), emergency services were called to Cabramatta Road, Mount Prichard, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command arrived to find a BMW sedan had hit a pedestrian.
The pedestrian – a 58-year-old man – was found unconscious nearby and treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for critical head injuries before being taken to Liverpool Hospital.
The driver of the sedan – a 45-year-old man – was uninjured and taken to Fairfield Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established and police have commenced an investigation into the incident.
