Pedestrian critically injured after being hit by car - Harris Park

Investigations are underway after a man, believed to be aged in his 70s, was hit by a car in Harris Park this afternoon.

Shortly after 3pm (Sunday 23 February 2020), the man was hit by an SUV, driven by a woman aged in her 50s, as he walked on the footpath on Good Street.

He suffered critical injuries and was taken to Westmead Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The woman was not injured and was also taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and would like to speak with anyone who may be able to assist.
