Pedestrian Dies After Carlton North Collision

A man has died following a collision with a bicyclist in Carlton North last week.

Emergency services were called to reports the cyclist had struck a pedestrian on Rathdowne Street, near Macpherson Street, about 2pm on Monday 2 March.

The cyclist, a 50-year-old Brunswick East man, was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

The pedestrian, an 84-year-old Carlton North man, was transported to hospital where he died on 6 March.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision is ongoing.
