Pedestrian dies after crash - Ultimo

A man has died following a crash in the inner-City last month.

About a 12pm on Wednesday 24 January 2024 emergency services responded to reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle along Abercrombie Street, Ultimo.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the pedestrian – a 61-year-old man – at the scene. He was taken to St Vincent's Hospital in a stable condition.

The 52-year-old male driver was uninjured.

Officers from South Sydney Police Area Command commenced an investigation into the matter.

Police were notified yesterday (Sunday 11 February 2024) that the pedestrian had died.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
