Pedestrian dies after Glenroy collision

A pedestrian has died in hospital after being struck by a car in Glenroy earlier this month.

Investigators believe the woman was crossing Pascoe Vale Road, just south of Glenroy Road, when she was struck by a car about 1.55am on 1 March.

The 24-year-old woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where she sadly died on 8 March.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 57-year-old Greenvale man, was unharmed and stopped to assist at the scene.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
