Pedestrian Dies After Thomastown Collision

A woman has died after being struck by a truck in Thomastown earlier this month.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Latitude Boulevard and Heyington Avenue about 7.45pm on Wednesday 13 August.

The pedestrian, a 26-year-old Hillside woman, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries where she sadly passed away overnight.

The truck driver was initially unaware of the collision but was flagged down by passersby and stopped to assist.

Greensborough Highway Patrol officers continue to investigate the collision.
