Pedestrian fatality in Notting Hill

A pedestrian has died following a collision at Notting Hill last night.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives were told a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle driving east on Ferntree Gully Road, near Forster Road at 7.30pm.

Investigators have located that vehicle and are not seeking to speak with any other drivers.

The 62-year-old Glen Waverley man died at the scene.

Police will report a report for the coroner.
