Pedestrian hit by car at Hallett Cove, South Australia

Police are investigating a crash earlier today at Hallett Cove.

Just after 2.30pm on Thursday 1 October, patrols and paramedics were called to the Hallett Cove Shopping Centre car park on Lonsdale Road after a Toyota sedan struck a pedestrian before crashing into a cafe.

The driver, an 89-year-old woman from Trott Park, was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre with minor injuries while the pedestrian, an 80-year-old man from Hallett Cove, was also taken to the Flinders Medical Centre with serious injuries.

Investigators from Major Crash are making their way to the scene.
