Pedestrian hit by car - Haymarket

Investigations are underway after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Haymarket this morning.

About 3.45am (Sunday 24 March 2019), emergency services were called to Sussex Street, near Goulburn Street, Haymarket, following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car.

The pedestrian – a man aged in his 40s, is currently being treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

The male driver of a Ford Ka, was uninjured and taken to St Vincent's Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command attended and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
