A woman has been seriously injured following a crash in Sydney's Inner West area.
About 4.40am today (Friday 27 February 2026), emergency services were called to Crinan Street, Hurlstone Park, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 56-year-old woman at the scene for head injuries before she was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver – a woman aged in her 40s – has been taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.
