Pedestrian Seriously Injured At Toongabbie

Police have commenced an investigation after a pedestrian was injured in Sydney's west.

About 9.50pm yesterday (Wednesday 22 October 2025), emergency services were called to Settlers Walk, near Greenmeadows Crescent, Toongabbie, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a bicycle.

On arrival, officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command were told the rider had allegedly left the scene following the crash.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the pedestrian – a 65-year-old man – before he was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

Police have established a crime scene to be forensically examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
