Police are at the scene of a serious crash at Elizabeth Grove where a teenager was struck by a car.
About 3.15pm on Wednesday 30 January, police and paramedics were called to Harvey Road after a car collided with a teenage boy. He sustained serious injuries in the crash and was rushed to hospital.
Harvey Road is closed between Ridley Road and Smitham Street.
Anyone who witnessed the crash and hasn't yet spoken to police is urged to contact the police assistance line on 131 444 and pass on their details.
