The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.
Staff Sgt. Felix A. Berrios, 33, of Houston, Texas, died Nov. 3, 2023, at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, as a result of a non-combat related incident. The incident is under investigation.
Berrios was assigned to the 25th Signal Battalion, 160th Signal Brigade, U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.
